Council Levels & Leadership Roles

1. The President

Role: Chief executive & figurehead — sets strategic direction, represents AOYAD globally, and ensures mission delivery.

  • Global Representation — leads diplomatic & cultural partnerships.
  • Strategic Oversight — aligns goals with values.
  • Leadership — coordinates across leadership levels.

2. The Secretary-General

Role: Chief administrator handling daily operations, official communications, and implementation of Council directives.

3. Vice Presidents (Regional Leads)

Role: Oversee AOYAD activities across continents and regions, linking national chapters to global strategy.

4. Director of Publicity / Communication

Role: Manages public relations, media outreach, and AOYAD’s messaging.

5. The Treasurer

Role: Manages financial operations, record-keeping, and ensures fiscal transparency.

6. Director of Finance
